Paving a path in the business world takes inspiration, perseverance, knowledge, and effective communication and leadership abilities. The BIOINNO initiative aims to transform the way universities prepare students for success in the European economy by creating a culture of entrepreneurship throughout the university,” said Professor Antoine Harfouche, EU Coordinator of the BIOINNO Project.

The BIOINNO project designed a specific work package for the dissemination of project results.
In order to guarantee an efficient approach to dissemination of results, a dissemination strategy and plan is proposed by the SPACE network and has been accepted by the BIOINNO steering committee.
Dissemination activities increase the visibility of the project.

Over the next two years, the BIOINNO Project will offer participatory and collaborative education including entrepreneurial undergraduate and graduate programmes, internships, online and offline networking, business plan competitions and elevator pitch competitions. In this way, BIOINNO will help to actively promote innovative, knowledge-based solutions in education as well as developing entrepreneurial skills such as real-time problem solving, creative thinking and leadership. Importantly, BIOINNO will help establish new university-industry alliances by tuning in to the biotech industry needs.

Partners involved in the project and the dissemination activities are:

  1. Universities: Department for Innovation in Biological, Agrofood and Forest systems (DIBAF) - Università degli Studi della Tuscia, (Coordinating University / Italy)- Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL) - University of Cambridge (The Chancellor / UK) - Artesis-Plantijn University College (Belgium);
  2. Companies: SPYGEN (FR), Emerald Marketing (IT), Adapt Low Carbon Group (UK);
  3. Development agency: Bulgarian Development Agency (BG)
  4. Network: SPACE Ivzw (BE)

Dissemination on a wider scale will be guaranteed by the thousands of stakeholders of these partners.
Presentations on conferences and meetings, the use of social media, newsletters, articles and publications, brochures and posters will make the BIOINNO well known and will prepare the sustainability of the project: the start of the Entrepreneur’s Academy to a Biotech start-up!
